Bakr is a one big paradox: making stuff that's "generic", but so unique and cool at the same time .

i guess generic for these packs means no faction specific insignias or heraldry.

Stuff like this is why I keep coming back to this site. Enjoying your work.
Sidebar:
I would love to hear people's philosophy on how they use their melee units when they play around in editor.
Like:
1. Should we give the spearmen better defense stats or maybe some sort of extended reach?
-I always treat my spearmen like guard units, but rarely give them different stats than say: a swordsman-
2. Also, should or should not knights carry a lance when not mounted?
-The flagged lances on the backs sort of reminds me of either samurai or the Obblinox from War Wind (the bargain bin Warcraft game)-

Regarding spearmen technically in my packs they uses the same body as the footmen. So in my idea they have the same armor not unless the armor design is different. They do have extended reach.
For knights based on history lances are only useful in the initial charge then they shift to swords in the thick of the fighting. Lances are heavier and bulkier than spear if im correct so it is difficult to wield them and is usually utilized in direct cavalry charge I guess this is also the reason why in jousting the combatants charge each other in a straight direction. This is why it makes sense that when dismounted in wc3 they just carry the lance strapped on their back and wields swords instead. The original knight model uses its sword in combat.

Right, I guess what I was going at was lances as far as WC3 is concerned, not IRL. LOL.
I have wondered why they bothered putting the lances on the knights in the game.
Like do you think they intended to have some special attack or ability, but it got cut in development?

I love the portrait for the knight you have here, especially the visored one. Any plans to have a more dynamic portrait for your other knight models like this one has?

These models are so clean and so sleek. I particularly love that visor on the alternative Knight model. It looks incredible in-game and in its portrait!
Also really can't stress how nice it is to see nothing too unnecessary or 'noisy' on any of the units.
Fantastic job sir!

This pack is amazing! There are so many little details that add so much value, like the mounted/unmounted and helmed/helmetless versions of the knight. These kinds of variations give creators so much flexibility in how they interpret and use the models for their own projects. Plus, I love to have more "generic" options for storytelling that doesn't necessarily fit in the Warcraft universe.
